Vintage 1925 Manning-Bowman Iconic Art Deco Solid Brass & Nickel Electric Waffle Iron Maker with Elegant curved cabriole legs & original wood handl
e. It has been polished so never needs polishing-
Absolutely Gorgeous! It has the May 1925 patent date stamped on the base as shown in the last photo
.
It is pictured on page 147 of the 1999 Book, Price Guide to Collectible Kitchen Appliances by Miller & Mitchell.
A Cord is included that fits it, unknown if it is the correct cord, nor if it will work with it, as I had the grates cleaned, and exterior polished & lacquered for display purposes, but it fits & displays well with it. I have not plugged it in.
It measures 7" high x 9 1/2" wide, in excellent vintage condition with no dings or dents. It's been in my collection for over 40 years..you will not be disappointed! It's a showpiece!
