    Description

A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued May 11th, 1984 to commemorate the Louisiana World Exposition. The theme of the Expo was "The World of Rivers - Fresh Water As A Source of Life".
The stamps feature many different creatures that depend on fresh water to live.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office almost 40 years ago!  Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift to anyone who attended the Expo or is interested freshwater conservation!
