Universal waffle maker, model EA-3702. by Landers Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn.  There is a switch to control your desired outcome of light to dark waffles. The store sticker is still on the cover (no longer in business). It comes with the original cloth-covered cord. Made between 1920 and 1950.
Test: We removed the pop-out trays and tested the unit to make sure it heated up properly. To our amazement the heating elements only took a few seconds to light up (on high). The cloth cord and plug are in excellent condition. Each tray is held in place by a screw and a tension spring.
The unit is chrome. Handles, pull-tab, and heat switch are Bakelite.
Both top and bottom trays come out for easy clean-up.
