1971 Plymouth Duster

Description

I have a 1971 Plymouth Duster Twister. It has been sitting in a dry barn since 1989. Numbers matching 318 engine and transmission are still in the car. The motor and trans are both stamped 2382 on the tag plates. The factory Hemi Orange paint is showing from under the flaking purple/gold paint that was added in the early 70's.
It starts and runs nicely and will drive around the block no problem. There is no power to the key so it is running on a simple 'hot wire'. I removed the 1980s Sears brand oil filter and replaced with Napa filter and Valvoline racing oil. The front brakes have been rebuilt with new drums, shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, soft lines, lug studs, and master cylinder. It has a brand new gas tank and grommet, and I still have the original.
The body is incredibly rust free. There is a small dent around the front marker light on the driver front fender. The extent of the rust on the car is isolated to 2 locations. The first being the driver floor pan. This spot is about a 12" but 12" square that has about 10 pin holes in that area. The second location being the drain hole in the trunk pan which can be seen in the pictures. The trunk surface rust is isolated to about a 6" by 6" area where the undercoating delaminated from the sheet metal.  There is a rip in the vinyl top, but no bubbling or rust issues.  Factory body filler can be seen at the roof seam.  The rest of the floors, underbody, fenders and rockers are exceptional.
It comes with a bunch of extra parts (about a 2nd car worth of parts, some NOS) that can be seen in the pictures.
In 1971 only 6.9% of all dusters were ordered with a 340, and even less were ordered with the Twister package.
